No. CSV is a plain-text table that Excel, Numbers, and Google Sheets can open. Save a working copy as XLSX if you need Excel formatting or formulas.
Their hierarchy is recorded in the folder_path column. A CSV is flat, so it does not behave like Chrome's visual folder tree.
The file must be a bookmarks HTML export and no larger than 8 MB. Missing or invalid add dates remain blank instead of being guessed.
